Paris Texas

I love coming across unexpected restaurants. Those were you don't intend to go at first but end up there anyway and enjoy a delicious meal. This is what happened to me a few weeks ago with Paris Texas Restaurant. I initially was planning on going to Peonies, an insanely cute restaurant which also happen to sell flowers. Cute concept right ?!
Unfortunately, the place was completely booked (name that reference 😋) and after waiting a while outside of the restaurant, my friend and I decided to find an alternative.
We did not have to search for a long time since there was right in front of us, on the opposite street, the restaurant I'm going to talk about today : Paris Texas

Aloha Café

Near Pigalle, in the heart of the 9th district of Paris, there's a very cute coffee shop called Aloha Café.
Its decoration is very unique and floral, and there are a reasonable amount of sitting places compared to other Parisian coffee shops which are really tiny.
As most of the places I visit for the blog, I first came across Aloha Café on Instagram and fell in love with the palm tree leaves wall paper, which was so picture worthy 😁.

Yes I did spilled my coffee all over the saucer 😭

Daroco

If you know me, you know that I am an inconditionnal lover of Popolare !
The place is great, the food is excellent and on top of that, it's cheap. What else can we ask for, right  ?😋
But the problem with Popolare is that bookings are not available, so you always wait a while before you get a table.

So, for this time, as I was celebrating my Birthday with a friend, I decided to play it safe and to book a table at Daroco, an Italian restaurant that I was seeing everywhere on Instagram.

Braun Notes Coffee

Another day... Another Brunch of course 😀

Last Sunday, my friend and I decided to give a try to the famous Braun Notes Coffee that I was seeing on every Instagram page. What really caught my eye on the first place was the really unique presentation of the granola inside of a coconut. Moreover, the pictures were really appetizing so we decided to brunch there on Sunday.

The place is located nearby the Saint Lazare Train Station, a district which tend to be really dead on the weekends since most of the shops are closed, and since it's quite a shopping and business oriented area, Parisians don't really go to there to have a walk on the weekends.
Despite that, I find it quite nice to be able to brunch in this area, because the neighbourhood has a pretty architecture, with a direct view on the Church of Holy Trinity and not far from the Notre Dame de Lorette neighbourhood which is really worth seeing. Not to mention it's on the way to go to the Sacré Cœur.
And if you want to please your shopping addiction (like I do 😜), Galeries Lafayette and Printemps department stores are now open on Sundays !

But let's focus on our experience on the Brunch, because that's why you are reading this (I suppose haha) after all, shall we ?

Holy Belly

To all my breakfast lovers out there, this post is made for you !

If you were to ask me to chose between breakfast, lunch and dinner, I think I would probably say breakfast !
Not only because it is the time where you can mix sweat and savoury snacks, but also because I truly believe that eating a satisfying breakie is a perfect way to start off the day right.

So, one morning, as I was really hungry I decided to go out and try the Holy Belly Breakfast I had been lurking on for days on Instagram.

Holy Belly is an Aussie Style Café, where the atmosphere is friendly and where every english speaker is more than welcome. As a matter of fact, the owners are fluent in English and the staff will be very pleased to speak with you in Shakespeare's language.

So, now that I have introduced you to the place, let's talk about the food !

NAC (North Audley Cantine)

London,
I love this city so much ! It has the convenience to be 2 hours away from Paris by train and the power to transport you to a whole different atmosphere.
I've been there a few times when I was younger and was missing the city really bad, so one day, we decided to make a one day trip there with a friend, to enjoy good food, architecture and of course shop 'til we drop.

As we were only there for a day, we booked really early in the morning train tickets to enjoy the most of our day here.

Since my blog revolves around food, I will share with you in this article a brunch place I tried and really enjoyed : NAC 😊

L'Alcazar

Oh hello there !

I hope you're doing well 😊

I recently went to the Alcazar Restaurant in Saint Germain des Prés in Paris to celebrate the birthday of one of my closest friends. I thought I'd share my experience with you since I really enjoyed it !

The Alcazar is a Traditional French cuisine restaurant located in a street nearby the "Mabillon" subway station. It is a gorgeous and unique place decorated with lots of greenery which is really enjoyable when you're living in Paris. I'd say this restaurant is more on the fancier side, but it is really nice if you want to celebrate something special, or even if you want to treat yourself with some nice french dishes, because well, why not after all ? 😜

The restaurant in itself is really spacious and you don't feel like you're in Paris when you come in. They achieved to create a nature friendly dinner room with high ceilings to let the light come in and it's simply gorgeous !
